Lynne and Bill have done a great job in setting up protocols so they could keep the place open despite the restrictions due to the pandemic. Even with the modest restrictions on crowd size, spacing etc our family still had a great time, as usual! Lake George is an amazing body of water and there is no better place to stay than Takundewide. We would consider Takundewide our happy place as you can do lots of things or nothing depending upon your preference. We swim, boat, swim, sunbath, swim, cook, swim, play games, swim and then take another swim. haha Takundewide is a wide open paradise with incredibly beautiful views complete with and friendly and hospitable owners and managers.

Having rented all over the Cleverdale area, I can honestly say that Takundewide is by far the absolute best place to be. From the lovely screened porch to the beautiful green spaces, we could not ask for a more peaceful and serene spot. The waterfront is a family paradise with loads of well behaved children ! The process to reserve, check in and check out was easy and efficient. We will definitely be back.

This was our first stay at Takundewide in cottage #19. We now say the was our first annual stay at the cottages as a result of the warm hospitality and family atmosphere that we experienced during our visit. The resort is well appointed and well maintained. The amenities of the sun decks, beach and boating equipment were second only to our surprisingly productive fishing experience off the docks!
