Rate Sheet and Policies
RESERVATION PROCESS: Reservations are filled in the order request AND deposit are received. Priority is given for longer stays and returning cottage guests. Deposit (50%) is required with request but not processed until confirmed. Current year reservations are confirmed when received. Reservations for next year are accepted any time but not confirmed until January of the following year. Checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover accepted. $75 fee for checks returned from bank.
BALANCE DUE: 60 days before arrival.
TO BOOK: Submit reservation request using REQUEST FORM, or 518-656-9573, or firstname.lastname@example.org or CONTACT US. We do not use an online credit card portal. Do not email credit card information; it is not secure. Send credit card information by postal mail (PO Box 85, Cleverdale, NY 12820) fax (518-656-9573) or call the office (518-656-9573).
MINIMUM STAY is one week. We offer discounts for multi-week stays. To allow 24 hour vacancy between guests, rentals between June 12 and Sep 3 are 7 days/6 nights: Saturday to Friday. Before June 12 and after Sep 3, rentals are 7 nights beginning any available night.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in is 4 PM- 5 PM. Check-out is before 12 PM. From June 12 to Sep 3, check-in is Saturday and check-out is Friday. Before June 12 and after Sep 3, check-in any available day.

GUEST RULES: Takundewide is a private Homeowners Association for the use of its residents (the owners, their families, and their rental guests). Before arrival, please read Guest Rules. We are also required to inform you of new Town of Queensbury Short-term Rental Law. Please read and sign TOQ Law.
CLEANING POLICY: At the end of your stay, the cottage and grounds around it should be left the way you found it. You will receive check-out instructions prior to departure and if you follow them, we will waive the cleaning fee. Otherwise, a fee of $100 will be charged to your account. Guests are responsible for property damage caused by them during their stay.
QUIET TIME: Before 9 AM and after 10 PM.
CANCELLATIONS: Reservations are non-refundable. If you must cancel, we make every effort to re-book the cottage you reserved. If successful, payments made will be refunded (less a $150 service charge). Otherwise, you will be charged the total price of reservation.
PETS: We love our furry friends but guests must leave their pets at home. Pets are not allowed in the rental cottages.
