Rate Sheet and Policies
RESERVATION PROCESS: Reservations are filled in the order your request with a deposit is received. Deposit (50%) required with request but not processed until confirmed. To submit request: REQUEST FORM, or 518-656-9573, or firstname.lastname@example.org or CONTACT US. Minimum stay is 1 week (between June 12 and Sep 3, one week is 6 nights Sat to Fri to allow 24 hours between guests; before June 12 and after Sep 3, 1 week is any 7 nights). Current year reservations are confirmed when received. Next year reservations accepted any time but not confirmed until January. Priority is given for longer stays and returning cottage guests. Balance due 60 days before arrival. Checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover accepted. $75 fee for checks returned from bank. (NOTE: We do not use an “online credit card portal” and do not ask you to send funds to one. Assume a request to do so is spam. Do not email credit card information; it is not secure).

GUEST RULES: Takundewide is a private Homeowners Association for the use of its residents (the owners, their families, and their rental guests). Before arrival, please read Guest Rules. Guests are responsible for property damage caused by them during their stay. During the pandemic, we adopted additional Health and Safety Plan to keep our community safe which are updated as NYS guidelines change. We are also required to inform you of the new Town of Queensbury Short-term Rental Law. Please read and sign this notice of TOQ Law.
MINIMUM STAY: One week. (Note: from June 12 – Sep 3 a week is 6 nights: Saturday to Friday. At all other times a week is any 7 nights)
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in is 4 PM- 5 PM. Check-out is before 12 PM. From June 12 to Sep 3, check-in is Saturday and check-out is Friday. Before June 12 and after Sep 3, you may check-in on any available afternoon.
QUIET TIME: Before 9 AM and after 10 PM.
CANCELLATIONS: Reservations are non-refundable. If you must cancel, we make every effort to re-book cottage. If successful, payments made will be refunded (less a $150 service charge). Otherwise, you will be charged the total price of reservation.
PETS: We love our furry friends but guests must leave their pets at home. Pets are not allowed in the rental cottages.
