All guest names must be submitted and only registered guests are permitted to sleep in cottages. Maximum occupancy for each cottage is listed in Cottage Details.  Please indicate your preference of 2, 3, or 4 bedrooms and location (groundsview, lakeview, or lakefront) rather than one specific cottage.

CONFIRMATION: Reservation requests for this year are confirmed when received. Requests for next year are accepted any time and confirmed starting in January of the following year. Priority is given for longer stays and returning cottage guests. Reservations are filled in the order the request with deposit is received.

DEPOSIT & BALANCE: (50%) is required with request and held until reservation is confirmed. If reservation cannot be confirmed, credit card will not be processed and check will be returned. Balance is due 60 days before arrival. Checks (made out to Takundewide Management Group, Inc.), VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover accepted. Indicate on reservation form authorization to use the same payment method for the balance. $75 fee for checks returned from bank.

  • Multi-week Discount: available on each consecutive week in the same cottage. Deeper discounts available for monthly and seasonal guests.
  • No Laundry Discount: prefer your own sheets, towels, and blankets? Bring yours from home and get a discount. You will supply your own bed sheets, blankets, bath towels, bedspreads, hand towels, face cloths, bath mat, kitchen towel, dish cloth, and pot holders. We provide mattress covers and pillows (in extra protective covering) for all beds.

BALANCE DUE: 60 days before arrival for cottages and weekly boat spaces. Indicate on the reservation form authorization to use the same payment method for balance when due. Before May 15 for seasonal boat spaces and moorings.

MINIMUM STAY: one week for cottages; two weeks for The Mason House. To allow vacancy between guests, rentals between June 17 and Sep 8 are Saturday to Friday (7 days/6 nights). Before June 9 and after Sep 9, rentals may begin on any available night for a minimum of 7 days/7 nights. Discounts are available for multi-week stays.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Contactless check-in/out. Go directly to your cottage. GPS address found on cottage details or Directions Page. We will email you the property address and access instructions prior to your arrival.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: Photos are representative of general design. Exact layout and decor are not guaranteed. Extra linens for sofa bed are available upon request (must be before 1 PM on date of arrival). List of what is included and suggestions about what to bring. All beds include mattress covers and pillows (in extra protective cover). We provide bed linens, blankets, bed spreads, bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, bath mats, kitchen towel, dish cloth, and pot holders or you can opt to bring your own and receive a discount. 

GUEST WELCOME GUIDE AND RULES: Your Reservation is acknowledgment and agreement that you, each member of your party, and your guests will  follow the terms and conditions in these GUEST WELCOME GUIDE AND RULES. You are responsible for any violations reasonably attributable to you, your party, or your guests, of the Guest Rules and any other applicable laws, rules or regulations. Indicate that you read the Guest Rules on the reservation form. 


CLEANING POLICY: Housekeeping cottages are a Lake George tradition! We provide a fully equipped cottages; you supply the housekeeping, food, and supplies. Keep your cottage tidy and at the end of your stay, leave cottage and grounds around it as you found it on arrival and we will waive cleaning fees. Otherwise, a fee of $150 (plus NYS sales tax) will be charged to your account. Guests are responsible for property damage caused by them during their stay. Check-out instructions sent by email prior to departure. 

QUIET TIME: Before 9 AM and after 10 PM.

CANCELLATIONS: Reservations are non-refundable. If you must cancel, we make every effort to re-book the cottage you reserved. If successful, payments made will be refunded (less a $150 service charge). Otherwise, the total amount of your reservation is due.

PETS: We love our furry friends, but rental guests must leave them at home. Animals of any size may not enter rental cottages or sleep outside overnight. Dogs visiting the property must be leashed and may not go on beach. Owners must pick up after their animals.

TOURS: Property tours may be available during the Fall by appointment only. Tours are not available on a drop-by basis. Please make arrangements several days in advance by calling: 518-656-9573. Kindly respect our guests’ privacy and direct all inquiries to the Management.
