Rate Sheet and Policies


RESERVATION PROCESS: Reservations are filled in the order your request with deposit is received. Deposit (50%) required with request but not processed until confirmed. To submit request: REQUEST FORM, or 518-656-9573, or info@takundewide.com or CONTACT US. Minimum stay is 1 week (between June 12 and Sep 3, one week is 6 nights Sat to Fri to allow 24 hours between guests; before June 12 and after Sep 3, 1 week is any 7 nights).  Current year reservations are confirmed when received. Next year reservations accepted any time but not confirmed until January. Priority for longer stays and returning cottage guests. Balance due 60 days before arrival. Checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover accepted. $75 fee for checks returned from bank.  (NOTE:  We do not use an “online credit card portal” and do not ask you to send funds to using one. Assume a request to do so is spam. Do not email credit card information; it is not secure).

RATES: RATESHEET or COTTAGES. Discounts available for consecutive week in same cottage; deeper discounts for monthly and seasonal guests. Additional 4% Warren County occupancy tax will be applied.

GUEST RULES: Takundewide is a private Homeowners Association for the use of its residents (the owners, their families, and their rental guests). Before arrival, please read GUEST RULES. Guests are responsible for property damage caused by them during their stay.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in is 4 PM- 5 PM. Check-out is before 12 PM.  We allow 24 hours vacancy between guests. Before June 12 and after September 3, minimum stay is 1 week starting and ending any available night. From June 12 to Sep 3, minimum stay is 7 days/6 nights, Saturday to Friday. Before June 12 and after Sep 3, minimum stay is any seven nights.

QUIET TIME: Before 9 AM and after 10 PM.

CANCELLATIONS: Reservations are non-refundable. If you must cancel, we make every effort to re-book cottage. If successful, payments made will be refunded (less a $150 service charge). Otherwise, you will be charged the total price of reservation.

PETS: We love our furry friends but guests must leave their pets at home. Pets are not allowed in the rental cottages.
